Mama Jude with Abby & More Diane
By far the best thing that happened today was listening to these two gorgeous ladies giggling together.
Mama Jude and Diane have been friends since they were 3 years old. I always love a visit from More Diane because she is truly family and she has been there for us through the worst of times. Longtime readers of the Nosy Parker blog may remember that she accompanied us on a very special trip to Venice 3 years ago.
I was in my room earlier and heard the sweet sounds of these two laughing together. There’s something about laughing with childhood friends that just brings you back to childhood. When I came into the living room, I found them adorably knitting together. Of course, Abby has inserted herself into the mix as well.
Today’s #OneGoodThing is the laughter of childhood friends.

Oh you’re sweet for asking Yvonne, thanks. Sadly Abby now walks with a limp. Like a little tripod. Surgery isn’t a great option at the moment, but we’re hopeful the hydrotherapy rehab will help. Her insurance finally came through and approved her for 10 sessions. We’ll keep you posted 🙂

Poor little lass, she must wonder what’s cramping her style, eh? Jude’s lap will no doubt be sought, as consolation.
