Sadly, my hot water bottle sprung a leak earlier this week. It was old and rubber and had likely never seen such continued use in its life.

We’d previously researched ordering hot water bottle covers with Abby’s photo, but it seems only to be available in the U.K. and shipping would take ages. It would be lovely at some point, but in the meantime we ordered from Amazon.

It is certainly no Abby substitute — she is not replaceable! But as a comfort in her absence… my new warm friend arrived in the mail today, and it is wonderful and toasty and today’s #OneGoodThing!
