A few days ago I finished reading the most wonderful book, “A Dog’s Purpose” by W. Bruce Cameron, and I couldn’t wait for Mama to finish reading it too!
We had to say goodbye to our sweet Abby in October and we have been missing her fiercely. This delightful, funny and touching tale has helped us deal with our profound grief more than anything else. I don’t want to give it all away, but it was very healing to read at this sad time. I was so glad when Mama was reading it so we could talk about what happens and the hilarious and poignant lines! As you can see in the photo, Mama started marking the pages with quotes she liked until she realized she was marking nearly every page! If you ever know someone who has lost a beloved furry family member, this book is for them!
Today’s #OneGoodThing was Mama finishing reading this wonderful book. Plus I got to start reading the book’s sequel today, “A Dog’s Journey.”
Day 339 of 366.

I love how Jude had marked so many pages!
Have you seen the movie Red Dog, based on a true story and set in Western Australia? A nice Venetian friend told me about it!

She went a little nuts with the markings until she realized she was marking nearly every page! It was hilarious!

Tell Jude it was Fausto from the Allogia Barbaria who gave me the recommendation. She may well have read his blog a few years back.
