366 Days of #OneGoodThing

#OneGoodThingIf you asked me to tell you 366 good things that happened in my life this year, I’d be at a total loss.

It was a crap year in a lot of ways. Physically, I felt like shit every single day. That’s right. Every. Single. Day. It turned out that I have a chronic autoimmune disease. Even after finally finding a diagnosis, I got much sicker before I started getting any better. Then I had to face a lifelong needle phobia to give myself daily injections. And then, my beloved dog Abby — 11 pounds of pure love and my best friend — died from brain cancer in October. We’ve also been deeply upset by the uprising of hate in our country, and we are afraid for our future.

But it’s not like 2015 was so great either. After all, that’s why I started my #OneGoodThing project a year ago. And I can honestly say that it has changed the way I think. Even on my worst days, I have made an effort to identify something positive. Some days it was just a funny video or a poignant meme. Other days it was food-related or style-related.

Every single day of this year, I wrote a blog post about #OneGoodThing that day. Finishing 366 days of this project is today’s #OneGoodThing. Below is the complied list of posts (with links).
