For the last four years, I’ve written about #OneGoodThing each day. It’s an ongoing exercise in choosing hope—and a creative outlet.
Each December I wonder whether or not to continue. I’ve written nearly 1,500 posts about good things. But the world still needs more positivity, more hope, more cheering each other on.
And so, today, on January 1st, 2020, I commit to a 5th (and possibly final?) year of #OneGoodThing daily. Throughout the new year, I’ll also continue to Raise Up Extraordinary Women each week. I was quite inspired by the 31 incredible women who shared their stories these last few weeks.
On this chilly Wednesday New Year’s Day, I enjoyed a lovely evening walk with Paisley—and our magnificent neighbors shared a scrumptious bowl of black-eyed peas with us! Mama and I had never tried black-eyed peas before and now we can’t wait to make a giant pot!
Today’s #OneGoodThing is gratitude for a fresh new year! Wishing you all a very happy 2020 filled with joy, love, and laughter! For a look back at the 365 good things from 2019, please scroll down! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! Kindness is Everything.
Day 1 of 366. And Day 1,462 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things, & the 4th year of good things is below)!
