The Emerald Beaut pluot season is short and so you’ve got to catch it right away for full advantage. We’d been asking all summer when they’d be ready and the day finally came earlier this month. Since this is our absolute favorite fruit, we actually called the farm this morning to see if they’d be selling them at our local farmers market today.

When we got to the market, the man running the stand was already expecting us! Plus he remembered us from last week. He told us they have 40 Emerald Beaut pluot trees and they’re pretty much at the end of their crop. We had a lovely chat with him and, of course, we stocked up on Emerald Beauts! Then he even threw in a few pluots of another variety for us to try. Thanks Adam of Ponce Farm!
