Today I worked on several little projects around the house, but I’m most pleased with our ‘beautify the back door’ project!

Just outside our sliding glass door leading to our back yard, there’s a strange little area that’s pretty much useless. A lovely metal peacock sculpture has lived there since shortly after we moved in to the house, but there was still some wasted space there. Mama and I worked together to move our tiny firewood pile behind the peacock. We also moved the pots and the lantern, swept the stair and the wall, and tidied the area. It looks so much better than before.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was beautifying the back door! (My apologies for not taking the photo during the daylight.)
