Both Mama and I were sick in bed all day today, and it was awful — except for our sweet Paisley boomeranging between our beds.

Paisley is such an incredibly loving soul. She’d get up from bed to follow us to the bathroom; then go check on the other one, gently curling her warm body against each of us. It was so comforting. Plus, Paisley’s attention helped me rest more easily because I knew if Mama was in trouble/needed me, that Paisley would alert me.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was a Paisley kind of love.
