Crepe myrtle blossom surprise

We actually let loose a little scream of joy and surprise today when we discovered our first crepe myrtle blossom of the season!

Mama fell in love with crepe myrtle trees that line many streets of Santa Rosa when we were house hunting. We planted two in our front yard in honor of her birthday a couple of years ago. We didn’t get any blossoms until much later last year, but we have loved watching these trees grow. We can’t wait to see them in their full glory! I promise to share these stunners with you too.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was enjoying our beautiful, first crepe myrtle blossoms of the season.
