Today I had two gorgeous, witty lunch dates — Mama and our sweet friend Bobbie.

We brought take-out from her favorite local Italian place, and she made iced tea and her famous Mandelbrot. We had a wonderful time catching up with her, and she was kind enough to share some stories from her incredible life (she’s just recently turned 94!). We absolutely adore Bobbie — and so does Paisley!

After lunch, we got our car smog-checked (a long overdue errand). When we got home, my box of skinny needles was on the porch! And tonight, our beloved NCIS season premiered! Gibbs is back!!!

Today turned out to have so many good options, but the best part of the day was our delightful lunch spent with Bobbie and so she is today’s #OneGoodThing!
