ROSE•ilience pins by Mikayla Butchart

Today our lovely friend Margo and her sweet dog Mason came to visit and have brunch with us. It’s a long-standing tradition involving banana pancakes, turkey bacon, and several episodes of “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.”

Mama and I were thrilled to see them again. We’ve all been busy so it’s been a while since we’ve visited. It was wonderful to catch up on each other’s lives, especially after the recent firestorm that devastated our community.

Margo brought these beautiful ROSE•ilience pins for us; the design is both a rose (for Santa Rosa) and hands supporting one another. The message is “Together we bloom again.” They’re made by a local Santa Rosa artist and funds raised will be donated to North Bay Fire relief efforts.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was getting to visit with Margo and Mason, and these gorgeous pins with a cause! Thank you Margo!
