Gondolas in Venice feature a wide array of decoration. Here’s a photo of one of the more ornate ones we saw. These were regularly parked on a canal we crossed over regularly to get to the Strada Nuova (a lovely main strip filled with restaurants, cafes, shops, gelato, pharmacy, grocery and more). These gondolas have (matching) plush leather seating, red carpeting and gold detailing. Very nice.
This also happens to be the same canal where we saw a funeral by boat.
Ok, Nosy Parker readers, that was a short post. I’ll go work on some more… 🙂
The goal? Post every day this week. It’s Monday so here we go!!!

OK, I’ll be watching my inbox for that notice that there is another post. Ciao a te, anche a sua madre. Baci.
