This is the last armless bridge in Venice (meaning are no railings/walls for safety). This bridge is just down the street from the apartment Mama rented when she first fell in love with Venice.

Can you imagine carrying groceries home over that? Oy. A late night stumbling home might end up in the canal below!

That is one of the few private bridges in Venice that is named – Ponte Chiodo (nail, as in pin, not finger). Jane and Renato (Katharine Hepburn and Rossano Brazzi) crossed it to his home (and fireworks!) in ‘Summertime’.
