Successful fire

successful fireThe Nosy Parker family kept warm by a fire I built in our fireplace tonight.

Our chimney goddess friend Julie stopped by with a repair to help prevent smoke from filling our living room. She created an extension to the top of our chimney that helps the wind pull the smoke upwards. Mama thinks it looks like a chef’s hat on top of our chimney. Our homework was to build a fire tonight and test it out.

It was a smashing success! We enjoyed a beautiful, toasty fire that kept us warm and a smoke free room! Thanks to Julie!

This successful fire was today’s #OneGoodThing!
