Today’s #OneGoodThing was catching up with one of my besties on her 5-mile, 48-minute commute home from work. She lives in L.A. Though I feel bad that this is her regular commute, I admit I was happy to have so long to catch up.
Laurel and I first met at summer camp when we were 7 years old. We were pretty much inseparable during our teens and then lived together in our 20s. We now live at opposite ends of California. I’m honored to be a bridesmaid in her wedding next month.
It had been a while since we’d had a proper catch-up and I was happy to hear the details of her wedding planning coming together. Like old friends who’ve seen each other through good times and bad, we picked up right where we left off and chatted like no time had passed.
Today’s #OneGoodThing was talking with my childhood best friend Laurel.
Day 113 of 366.
