The best part of my day was this sweet cuddle with Abby.

Feeling nervous and fatigued, I decided to rest before giving myself my B12 shot today (yes, I’m wearing a towel). Abby — who’d been glued to Mama‘s side all day — used all her 11 lbs. to push open my door. She knew I needed calming. Abby nuzzled in against me and stretched her neck up along my neck. I could feel the love. I just lay there thinking this is far and away the best part of my day and it is AMAZING! I spent a long time enjoying the moment before pulling out my phone to snap these photos.

It’s no coincidence that my B12 self injection went better than any of my previous jabs. I felt much more relaxed.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was this calming, sweet cuddle from Abby.
