A beautiful fix

jab bag zipper pull diyA few months ago I set up a beautiful kit for my daily B12 injections, but the zipper pulls on this lovely bag were missing. As much I loved the bag and how convenient it was to have everything organized, it was not easy to open and close — especially when the bag was packed full of supplies (two different sized needles, alcohol swabs, sensitive band-aid circles, and the injectable B12).

Since I must use my injection kit every day, I knew I had to come up with a good solution. I’ve tried several options, but found they all fell apart or made the bag more difficult to open! Today I finally found a good permanent solution. We picked up the parts at our local bead shop a few days ago, and today I finally glued the crystals in place, attached the jump rings and closed the metal loops on the bag. Thankfully we recently found our needle-nosed pliers in a box in the garage! These new DIY zipper pulls are a beautiful fix and I’m all for anything that helps me with these difficult injections.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was finding a permanent — and beautiful — solution for my jab bag’s zipper pulls! Special thanks once again to my friend Lauren for this gorgeous bag!
