Sculpture in progress of Abby, beloved forever

Today I began sculpting a bust of my baby out of clay.

It’s just been a week since we had to say goodbye and about three weeks since we learned the end was near. For me, the sculpting is more about art therapy than art quality, but I really enjoyed seeing her face appear out of the clay.

It’s a work in progress and it’s today’s #OneGoodThing!
