Apparently, there’s still an iota of hope that we won’t have to suffer the racist, bigoted demagogue as our next president.
On December 19, the Electoral College *could* actually vote with the will of the people — the Popular Vote — to elect Hillary Clinton as our rightful president. I recognize this is a long shot, but I must find hope.
I pray for this for so many reasons. It scares me that the message of hate won. There is no value in devaluing another human. We need to make America kind again. Inclusiveness and love must guide us, not fear or hate.
On a personal note, if it weren’t for the Affordable Care Act I would not qualify for health insurance (hello pre-existing conditions!). I literally would not be alive today without the treatment I receive because of the Affordable Care Act. Thanks Obama! Seriously, thank you! And please don’t leave!
Today’s #OneGoodThing was learning that there is still a sliver of hope.
Day 315 of 366.
