Today I baked a new kind of cookie that I’d never made before. It’s called a Confetti Cookie — though I think mine look more like fireworks.
It’s essentially a sprinkle-rolled butter cookie with hints of vanilla and almond. I was drawn by how happy these cookies appear. I saw the recipe posted by Deb of Smitten Kitchen; I absolutely love her — her writing, her recipes, her stories and her photos! Here’s Deb’s recipe. My only variation was using two different kinds of rainbow sprinkles.
Today’s #OneGoodThing was baking these delightful, delicious cookies! I really enjoy baking and experimenting in the kitchen. The holidays give me a good excuse to mix it up again!
Day 353 of 366.
