In the beautiful, late afternoon sun, Mama and I planted the tomato plants we’d recently been given at our local Home & Garden Show.
We had six plants and three, big barrel planters. Unfortunately, we could only find one tomato cage in our yard. I could have sworn we had two, but one has apparently gone missing. So now we’ll need to pick up two more cages this week.
The tomato plants were starting to suffer in their starter plastic pots so knew we had to act quickly. We pulled out old roots from last season, turned over the soil, repositioned the pots to better light, and then we dug six cozy spots and tucked in our tiny plants.
Today’s #OneGoodThing was finally getting these babies planted!
