Mama and I got tickets for today’s excursion in January and we’d been looking forward to it for months. Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda’s award-wining musical “In The Heights” is being performed at our local junior college!

We were supposed to go a couple of nights ago, but Mama wasn’t feeling well. The theatre arts people were kindly accommodating. We packed up a mini picnic and went a little early today. The performance was sold out! Everyone was excited to see the show. We were glad we’d read up on the plot beforehand because it is complex and the lyrics are very fast.

Afterward we stopped by our favorite frozen yogurt shop just down the street. We enjoyed some wonderful peanut butter froyo with yummy toppings.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was enjoying a fun, theatrical excursion and froyo with Mama.
