Today was our second day in a row with 110° heat and we are melting. This is seriously miserable. It’s too hot to sleep or eat or think or do anything.

It’s also too hot to safely be outside; so Mama, Paisley and I spent the day cooped up inside. We drank lots of cold water, camped ourselves around our portable air conditioner, and enjoyed a variety of streaming shows — from our beloved “Murdoch Mysteries,” to the recently discovered “Great British Baking Show,” with a “Midsomer Murder” and a “Doc Martin” thrown in for good measure. Yep, we love British and Canadian TV.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was a variety binge to ride out the heat wave.
