Today I took Mama to a memory care class at our local hospital. We were referred by her neurologist because of her brain cancer and stroke related cognitive issues.
The class provided an interesting overview of cognition and related memory issues, and then discussed supporting the caregiver! We learned about new local resources, including monthly caregiver training workshops and social worker visits.
Today’s #OneGoodThing was learning about caregiving resources previously unknown to us!
Day 249 of 365. And Day 615 in a row!
1 year ago today: The return of Ellen
What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments!
I’m so glad you found somebody local resources to support you both!
