I’ve now been giving myself an injection of Vitamin B12 every day for nearly one and a half years. This is rather a big deal for me as I have a lifelong needle phobia.
A few things have made these daily jabs easier — using ice packs to numb my thighs beforehand, setting myself a routine to get through it, using a Buzzy vibrating ladybug with ice-pack wings to minimize the pain, and using skinnier needles! The skinnier needles were a tip I learned from my B12 buddy Laura. I’m nearly out and so I emailed Laura to see where she’d gotten them, and she emailed me the link and a very kind note that a box was on the way!
Today’s #OneGoodThing was the generosity of my sweet friend Laura. Thank you!!!
Day 261 of 365. And Day 627 in a row!

Wow, 27G, that’s very fine!

Yes the 27G is so fine that I can barely feel it going into my thigh! It’s great! Plus, I’ve got loads of scar tissue built up at this point so the skinny needle helps get through it more easily.
