Today I took Mama to a medical appointment in a neighboring city because the Santa Rosa facility where we normally go is still closed from the fires that ripped through our community.
We were grateful that her eye doctor was able to temporarily relocate and the facility could accept Santa Rosa patients, especially since the dangerous air quality has been upsetting Mama’s eyes.
While we were there, we were both able to get our flu shots for free — and there was no line! Paisley sat on my feet while Mama received her shot. She’s an excellent nurse watchdog.
Today’s #OneGoodThing was getting our free flu shots without a wait! Now here’s praying we don’t get the flu!
Day 299 of 365. And Day 665 in a row!
