Our regular farmers market had to move locations because of the fires that recently ripped through our community. The market has set up a temporary home in a church parking lot, but today was the first time since the fires we’d seen the farmers and vendors we’ve come to know. Life here is now “before the fires” or “after the fires.”
It was so lovely to see our friends and know they’re ok. We all shared our fire stories and how it’s still affecting us when we hear sirens or smell smoke. And we shared our gratitude that we’d all made it through. The sense of community was stronger than ever.
Today’s #OneGoodThing was reunions with our friends at the farmers market. It was too emotional to take photos so you get the cool logo.
Day 301 of 365. And Day 667 in a row!
