Family Caregivers Month

November is National Family Caregivers Month. I’ve been a solo caregiver for my dear Mama for the last six years. A recent study found more than 40 million caregivers are providing unpaid care in the U.S.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to be my mother’s caregiver. And I also find that caregiving can be incredibly isolating and challenging. So I beg you to be kind to the caregivers in your life. Try to understand their challenges and remind them how much you love and appreciate them!

Today’s #OneGoodThing was finding several family caregiver groups on Facebook this month where I’ve been able to connect with other caregivers.

Day 330 of 365.  And Day 696 in a row!
