Chanukah typically isn’t a huge deal in our house (it’s a minor Jewish holiday, after all). Chanukah is one of those holidays that’s more fun for kids. But this year, Mama and I get to celebrate with the wonderful family next door. They have two little girls, so I’ve been enjoying decorating our home to make it feel special for the holiday.
Tonight I went old school with my DIY decor. I made a giant paper chain in various shades of blue with some pops of white and yellow. It was incredibly easy to make. I cut the strips of paper with a paper cutter and then attached each loop with a staple. Done! I hung it along the trim of the large opening that separates our living room from the kitchen and dining area.
Today’s #OneGoodThing was making this lovely paper chain to brighten our home for Chanukah!
