Most satisfying season premiere ever

CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries, Season 11

Since we don’t have the good fortune to be Canadians, we had to wait for Season 11 of Murdoch Mysteries. Episode 1 is now finally available on AcornTV, and Mama and I watched it today.

Last season left us on a real cliffhanger with Detective Murdoch in jail, Dr. Ogden kidnapped, and the constables shot and possibly killed. I won’t spoil the season premiere for any of you, but it was immensely gratifying with unexpected plot twists and ultimately justice prevailing. When it ended, Mama and I looked at each other and agreed it was unusually satisfying in a way in which most shows are not anymore.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was the anticipated, wonderful return of Murdoch Mysteries! Oh Canada, you are more and more appealing with your great TV, universal healthcare, gorgeous prime minister, and friendly people.

Day 360 of 365. And Day 726 in a row!
