I took Mama to the doctor for a check-up today, and the medical assistant was so unbelievably kind that we didn’t even mind the long wait. Thankfully, we also brought our books with us.
When Charles put us in an exam room, he was patient and understanding while he listened to our concerns. He and Mama bonded right away, and we enjoyed getting to know him more. We remembered his sweet smile from seeing him at a different Kaiser right after the firestorm closed our regular hospital last October.
When Mama admired his red watchband, Charles floored us by insisting on making it a gift to her. Today’s #OneGoodThing was the kindness and generosity of lovely Charles!
Day 141 of 365. And Day 872 in a row (here’s the first 366 & the following 365)!
