Firecracker flowers from seeds

This flower has been an exercise in patience. Mama and I planted it from seeds in March.

After more than four months of tender care, we were rewarded with these gorgeous fireworks-like flowers. We refer to them as “Aster Salmon Red” — though they’re technically Aster flowers, of the Salmon Red variety.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was enjoying these beautiful blooms with Mama!

Day 225 of 365. And Day 956 in a row (here’s the first 366 & the following 365)!
