Pat and Joe, Summer 2018

This afternoon Mama and I received news that our beloved friend Joe had passed away after a two-month illness. We were shocked and deeply saddened.

Mama introduced Joe and his wife to each other; she just knew they’d be perfect for each other. Pat and Joe have been part of our extended family since before I was born, present at every milestone in our lives. We are so grateful for all of those moments together, the years of love and support.
