Hometown favorites

It’s been years since we’ve been back to Santa Cruz, so we stopped in at several of our favorite local shops today. Mama and I enjoyed walking around downtown and seeing our old haunts.

The day’s haul included artichoke bread, creme-filled chocolates, stylish warm hats, a new book, and dog shampoo and treats.

We ended the day’s adventures with a quick stop by the beach. The salty ocean smell and the sound of crashing waves were deeply calming.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was visiting hometown favorites with Mama! Many thanks to the ladies at The Hat Co. for their help in selecting the perfect hats to keep us warm! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments!
