Hometown favorites

It’s been years since we’ve been back to Santa Cruz, so we stopped in at several of our favorite local shops today. Mama and I enjoyed walking around downtown and seeing our old haunts.

The day’s haul included artichoke bread, creme-filled chocolates, stylish warm hats, a new book, and dog shampoo and treats.

We ended the day’s adventures with a quick stop by the beach. The salty ocean smell and the sound of crashing waves were deeply calming.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was visiting hometown favorites with Mama! Many thanks to the ladies at The Hat Co. for their help in selecting the perfect hats to keep us warm! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments!

Day 129 of 365. And Day 1,225 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things)!

1 year ago today: Trying sopapillas for the first time

2 years ago today: Muddled apple mint tea
