This photo was taken during my first ride on a vaporetto (waterbus). Though these waterbuses are typically very crowded, I managed to get a front seat of the outside section after getting on at Piazzale Roma (where I picked up our monthly waterbus passes with Hannah!). Purchasing the waterbus passes was a complicated process and we were thankful to have explicit instructions written out by another Venetophile blogger.
