Today I had to go to the hospital for further testing. These last several weeks have left me so weak and fatigued that I wasn’t able to walk around the hospital on my own steam. Unfortunately, this meant I needed help, which is about my least favorite thing to have to request.
The volunteer desk called for someone to push the wheelchair (they’re no longer self-propelled models at the hospital); and this kind and patient woman named Khara appeared and pushed me all over the joint. Of course, we chatted her up along the way. At the end of the trip, I finally got a good look at her and discovered her gorgeous outfit! I love the navy and gold necklace and how it complements the navy sweater and patterned top.
The kindness of Khara was today’s #OneGoodThing!
Day 74 of 366.
P.S. Today marks 20% of my 366 days of #OneGoodThing! Hooray!!!
