Tonight the Nosy Parker family celebrated Mama’s miraculous milestone with some very dear friends.
With the help of our friend Lisa and her incredible rose garden, I turned our backyard into an enchanted garden. And, of course, there were lots of peacocks — from the tablecloth I found on etsy to the peacock napkins I created for Mama.
But this special dinner could not have happened without the superwoman powers of my dear friend Goldberg. She really went above and beyond with the most wonderful feast! I am so deeply grateful for Goldberg’s help.
Mama is holding cookies that Goldberg made for her in the shape of a ferro — the symbol on the front of the gondola boats in Venice, Italy. Goldberg and her boyfriend created a ferro-shaped cookie cutter with a 3-D printer based off of a photo I sent them of Jude’s ferro necklace.
Only by the grace of Goldberg were we able to pull off this special night. And that is today’s #OneGoodThing!
Day 177 of 366.
