Today has been a heartbreaking day for the Nosy Parker family. Our sweet Abby started having terrible, violent seizures in the early morning hours. It was a horror.
We ended up in the veterinary emergency room, and she’s now been hospitalized. Today she had an x-ray, ultrasound and blood work and saw several specialists. Since these tests showed no cause for the seizures, the doctors believe the cause is in her brain — most likely a brain tumor. We are devastated. I feel like my heart has been ripped from my chest.
We shared what was happening this morning with our friends on Facebook, and we are so grateful for the thoughts and prayers that poured in from around the world. This horrible day would have been so much worse without the kind words of support from our community. Tomorrow Abby will have a brain MRI and spinal fluid tap, which will hopefully shed more light on what is happening to our little baby.
Today’s #OneGoodThing is love and support from near and far. Thank you. We are so grateful.
Day 279 of 366.

I am so very hopeful that Abby will make it through this struggle. If your Mama did it, so can your little furbaby. Our pooch from years ago, Beulah, had epilepsy and we treated her with daily meds. Her seizures lessened considerably and she lived for several more years after the onset of the disease.
I love the photo of you hugging and sustaining little Abby. She is the epitome of all our souls…sustained by comfort and caresses from our beloved family.
