Tastes of San Francisco

Mama, Paisley and I traveled to San Francisco today and got to enjoy all of my old favorite treats from when I lived here!

I love San Francisco. I still get a little tingle every time I cross the Golden Gate Bridge. I think about my family arriving in this beautiful city several generations ago and I feel proud to be a Bay Area native.

My bestie Angelina picked us up at home (about an hour north of the city without traffic) and brought us to her beautiful apartment near Baker Beach (by the Golden Gate Bridge). Waiting for us were all of the glorious treats she’d picked up on our Ferry Building by FaceTime visit! The cheese, bread and jam looks so pretty in the afternoon light. They were delicious (and miraculously have thus far agreed with my funky gut)!

The weather felt sunny, and yet fresh on my skin. I remember that feeling from living near the ocean. The sights are breathtaking. Paisley also loved the view and the low windows!

Today’s #OneGoodThing was the experiencing my favorite tastes of San Francisco, plus hugs from my bestie, plus seeing and smelling the ocean again! Also it was really nice to enjoy food again today. It’s been a while since eating has been enjoyable. Oh such good things!!!

Day 155 of 365. And Day 521 in a row!
