Last day in the city

It’s the middle of the night and we just got home. Today was our last day of our little excursion to San Francisco.

We had a wonderful time resting, eating and repeating at my bestie’s apartment near Baker Beach. We weren’t physically up to going out until today, but it was nice to change up the scenery. We loved her huge windows with sweeping views, the crisp ocean air, and the sound of the waves crashing! The best part of the trip was probably the gloriously yummy food — all of my favorite sweets, cheeses, bread and olive oil from The Ferry Building!!!! This evening we polished off the last of these incredible treats with deep sighs of pleasure.

Today we left the apartment to go to Angelina’s Cafe on California Street and we LOVED it!!! We had chocolate croissants, a chai and an almond milk latte. They were delectable! We also stopped by Baker Beach, but it was raining and Karl the Fog was blocking any view of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a wonderful final day of our trip and we are now quite happy to be back home.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was our lovely last day in San Francisco!

Day 159 of 365. And Day 525 in a row!

1 year ago today: So fresh and so clean
