Through the power of Netflix, Mama and I recently discovered a new British comedian who we love! He’s Jack Whitehall and he’s got a Netflix Original series called “Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father” as well as a new comedy special.
Jack’s travels through Southeast Asia with his 76-year-old father were so hilarious that we’ve already watched the entire series twice and would happily watch it again! We laughed nonstop and we kept having to rewind to hear what we’d missed. The relationship between the father and son is both prickly and touching.
Today’s #OneGoodThing was watching this endearing and hilarious series with Mama.
Day 300 of 365. And Day 666 in a row!
1 year ago today: A stunning memento

That sounds excellent. Here’s hoping I’ll find it on Netflix in Australia. The Brits do comedy very well.

Yay, it’s there. Thank you so much, I am having further surgery on my elbow next week, so will need entertainment.

I’m so sorry to hear about your surgery!!! And I’m thrilled we could suggest something awesome to watch! Do you get Grace & Frankie? We loved that one too!!! Wishing you speedy healing!

I was a little disappointed with Grace & Frankie, which surprised me. My surgery is due to me hurling myself off some steps in Naples, 6 months ago. Serves me right, eh?

Nope, definitely NOT deserved!!! I hope you enjoy Jack and his dad. We laughed so hard we cried!

I’m watching the 2nd episode, when they’re on the train, doing a lot of snort-laughs.

You should also try to catch Jack’s earlier TV series “Bad Education”, which is very funny too.

So I’ve checked and apparently that one is not yet available in the U.S. But thanks for the recommendation!
