Since moving to Santa Rosa a few years ago, Mama and I have enjoyed finding inspiration for our home projects at the local Home and Garden Show each Spring.
The event is held over a weekend at the nearby county fairgrounds. Large, crowded events can be difficult for us to maneuver. So we went today — on Friday — when it would be less crowded. We also enjoyed a slower general crowd pace, likely due it being Senior Day.
But this venue is massive and offers few places to sit. So today we brought along Mama’s transport chair (like a wheelchair, except it must be pushed). We typically only use it when attending large events. Experiencing today’s sprawling fair would not have been possible without this important piece of medical equipment.
Many thanks to the event organizers who gave us free tickets to the show — we’d like to pay their kindness forward by sharing our remaining 2 free tickets with anyone local who will use them this Saturday or Sunday!
Today’s #OneGoodThing was getting to share a fun day at the Home and Garden Show with Mama thanks to her lovely transport chair!
Day 75 of 365. And Day 806 in a row (here’s the first 366 & the following 365)!
1 year ago today: My favorite time of day
