Clockwise: Our neighborhood in Castello, our pizza being made fresh, hot pizza with artichokes for dinner

Venice is divided into six sestiere, or neighborhoods, and Mama and I are staying in Castello. We’re just one bridge and two corners away from our apartment five years ago, which is awesome because we can frequent some of our old favorite spots.

When I popped out to pick up our laundry tonight, I also ordered us a pizza from C’e Pizza E Pizza for dinner. After walking nearly seven miles the last few days, we needed a good rest today, and take-out — or take-away, as it is called here — was just what we needed! Paisley was happy to accompany me on these little errands, because the sweet man at the pizza shop spoils her with treats (just as he so kindly spoiled Abby five years ago).

Today’s #OneGoodThing was enjoying eating take-away Italian-style with Mama!
