Today was a historic day for women in American politics.
So far, 111 women have been elected, including 92 women to the U.S. House, 10 women to the U.S. Senate, and 9 women who will serve as governor. Among the milestone victories, we’re celebrating the first Muslim women, the first Native American women, and the youngest women elected to Congress. (Here’s an excellent breakdown of the record number of women up for election today and the results.)
Today’s #OneGoodThing was watching the election results with Mama and seeing the wave of women stepping into powerful positions! We did our civic duty and voted two weeks ago.
Day 310 of 365. And Day 1,041 in a row (here’s the first 366 & the following 365)!

This is great news and under reported. The more representatives from all parts of society of every creed, colour and sexual inclination is surely a good thing for America, and in turn a bad thing for Trump!
