One of my childhood best friends, Jenessa, is a colon cancer survivor and a truly fantastic blogger.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and the month kicked off today with Dress in Blue Day! I dressed in blue both for Jenessa and for my grandfather, who passed away from the disease more than 40 years ago.
