Rain is forecasted for the entire next week. Since I don’t like going to the pool in the rain, I dragged myself there today.

It was cloudy and cold. The pool was nearly empty. The first lap I walked, it felt like I’d made a terrible mistake. But then I warmed up and found the water more pleasant than the air. I didn’t last long but felt proud of myself for going at all.
