Some sisters are forged at birth. Mine was forged through life. We met at 18 and have supported each other through immense challenges in the decades since.

Today is Alyssa’s birthday and I am grateful she was born. It’s been an honor to be a part of her life and see her become a wonderful mother. She’s already a fabulous human and an amazing sister!
