Paradise in a jar

This is quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever tasted: Pot de creme from miette in San Francisco. It’s PURE heaven with a light and fluffy cloud of cream topping a smooth, balanced, rich chocolate custardy pudding.

Words can’t seem to do this justice. Mmmmm, damn… was about all I could say between bites. When I used to live in the city and would frequent this most special little sweet shop, I referred to this incredible dessert an orgasm in a jar. It was that good. And it still is.

This magical treat was part of the Ferry Building feast waiting for us at my bestie’s apartment. And, if it seems like all we’re doing in SF is eating and resting, that’s because we are. Well, that plus Mama is painting!

Today’s #OneGoodThing was the absolute joy of reuniting with my FAVORITE DESSERT EVER! I love miette!!! Thank you Angelina!!!
