2018 Burpee catalog

Mama and I have planted a veggie garden every spring/summer since we moved to Santa Rosa a few years ago.

In the beginning, we produced nothing edible. By last summer, we had improved greatly. We planted early and produced an excellent kitchen herb garden, and delicious zucchini, tomatoes, and more!

Mama and I especially enjoyed watching seeds grow, so we decided to create this year’s garden from mostly seeds (rather than from small plants). This has taken a considerable amount of planning and discussion, but today we placed our order from Burpee!

What a joy to see Mama throwing herself into garden planning with such enthusiasm! We’re even going to begin composting!
