We planted two Crepe Myrtle trees in our front yard in Mama’s honor a couple of years ago, but today was the first time we’ve ever pruned them.
We couldn’t bring ourselves to cut them before, but we learned what to do from a YouTube video. It took ages and we’re wiped out now, but they look so good! Experts say we’ll get more blossoms on new growth and late winter is apparently the best time for pruning, so we hope for gorgeous, vibrant blooms this summer!
